Darrin Eakins is the Founder and CEO of Golden Age Innovations. He is a proud graduate of Florida A&M University, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering.

Renowned for his strategic vision and forward-thinking approach, Darrin has established a track record of success in several ventures, including Eakins Enterprises, DuBlasé Whiskey and the philanthropic arm, The DuBlasé Foundation—each anchored in sustainable growth and community-driven impact. Under his leadership, Golden Age Innovations has become a catalyst for progress, with a business model that blends innovation with social purpose.

A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Darrin’s professional accomplishments have earned him national recognition, with features across major media outlets including ABC, NBC, BET, the Business Journal, and Forbes. His accolades include being named to Florida A&M University’s Distinguished Alumni (2025), Jacksonville Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 (2025), Florida A&M University’s 40 Under 40 (2023), and Top 20 Under 40 by the Florida Black Expo (2021).

Deeply committed to civic engagement, Darrin serves as President of the DuBlasé Foundation and sits on the boards of the Cultural Council of Greater Jacksonville (appointed by the Mayor) and Level the Playing Field Leadership Academy. He is also an active member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, and the FAMU National Alumni Association.

Darrin is an alumnus of several prestigious leadership programs, including the Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship (Small Business Executive Class XV), Hightower Emerging Leaders Fellowship (Class VII), Leadership Jacksonville Class of 2023, and Leadership Florida Connect (Class XIV).
